Choosing your brush | Bastelette

A little help
choosing your brush.

Start with width. Then compare the head, bristles and handle.

Start with the
size of the job.

A small pastry edge or a whole tray? Brush width is a good place to start.

Meet the materials.

Silicone

The red SB-175R has a 1¾-inch silicone head, a stainless steel interior and a hanging hole.

See SB-175R

Boar bristle

Wooden-handled WBR and WFB models offer a range of widths; compare the ferrule and measurements on each product page.

See WFB-20

Nylon

NB models have white plastic handles. The range includes flat, round and concave heads with hooks.

See NB-20HK

Flat, round or hooked?

A flat head gives you a width to match to your food. Round heads have a diameter instead. Hooked models have a distinct curved head and handle hook; check the product image and model details to compare them.
